Russia 2016

Russian breakfast is one of those that I was a little nervous over. Last year's milk cake was one of the odd moments of the season, but this year the Russians have made good.

Our breakfast was blini - effectively crepes as we know them in western Europe - dipped in jam and condensed milk. Unessarily sweet in my opinion but no one refused. It was also suggested that these should be served with sour cream, but we considered that to be wrong for anyone with functioning taste bids.

Only one upset - Tally couldn't wait long enough for breakfast to be ready, we nearly had a mini riot.
